Celebrate the back to school season at the ‘Kits, ‘Cats and Kids Block Party, followed by an ETHS home football game and a primetime Big 10 football game at Ryan Field! Join everyone on Thursday, September 24 from 5 pm – 7:15 p.m. on Sherman Avenue between Church and Davis Streets. After closing Sherman Avenue to cars, there will be games, arts and crafts, and family-friendly activities filling the street! FREE Admission. Type: Festival/Special Events.

2nd Annual Flight Fest!

September 26, 2015 
Bring your family and friends to Glenview’s 2nd Annual Flight Fest to celebrate aviation history and a walk down memory lane! Flight Fest honors past and present men and women in the United States Armed Forces. From 2pm-6 pm, Flight Fest kicks off with kid-friendly activities such as roaming entertainers, Glenview Jr. Flight Academy kid activities, inflatables, kite flying, and model air plane demonstrations. A tribute to veterans and armed forces at 4 p.m. From 6-8 p.m. Beatles tribute band “American English” will provide live music. Activity wristbands can also be purchased for the carnival games and activities. Free Admission for Ceremony, Music, StoryWalk and Historical Exhibits .
